All dues paid in 2006 shall be valid until that date. All dues paid so far this year will apply to the April 1, 2007 - April 1, 2008 membership period. For purposes of reporting eligibility to the Tennessee Young Republican Federation, all members need to supply their birthdates. Please respond with this information if you have not reported it before. -------------------------------------- YR Crawfish Boil -------------------------------------- The Williamson County Young Republicans will hold a crawfish boil fund-raiser on the night of April 28, after the Franklin Main Street Festival has wound down. The fund-raiser will be held at Brandon and April Ryan's home in Franklin and will feature crawfish and live music. We will be inviting our elected officials, as well as senior party members and potential YR members. Tickets are $25 per person and will be sold in advance. We are expecting to sell about 150 tickets. The tickets will be available next week if you would like to sell them. Please let me know how many tickets you want and where & when I can meet you to hand them over. -------------------------------------- State YR Rechartering -------------------------------------- The TRYF rechartering is this Saturday, March 24 at 11:00 A.M. in the State Senate Chamber at the State Capitol. The Tennessee House and Senate Republican Caucuses will hold a reception at 12:30 for all attendees. Congressman Marsha Blackburn is scheduled to speak, so it would be great if we could turn out a crowd from Williamson County. Please RSVP to me if you plan on attending. -------------------------------------- YR Planning Meeting -------------------------------------- * NOTE: The originally planned location has changed. We will hold a special planning meeting on Tuesday, March 27. All YRs are invited to attend. Please RSVP if you are able to attend. Time: 6:30 P.M. Location: 7100 Commerce Way, Ste. 50 Directions: From I-65 take the Moores Lane exit towards the west. Take the first right at Bank of America. Go past Best Buy to the old Service Merchandise headquarters building. Go to the west side of the building and enter at the first entrance. Suite 50 (Peak 10) will be the first office inside the door. If the building doors are locked, call 615-496-3745 and I will let you in. -------------------------------------- YR Day on the Hill -------------------------------------- YR Day on the Hill will be held March 28. The day will start with lunch with the legislators. YRs can sit in on committee meetings or legislative sessions and tour the capitol. Happy hour at Buffalo Billiard's will end the day. Tickets are $40 per person.
