You can see the new logo at: http://www.williamsonyr.org/logoproofs/officiallogo.gif The website and printed documents will be updated to use the new logo. We will also be printing generic business cards and stickers in the next few months. -------------------------------------- Meeting Location Change -------------------------------------- When we arrived for the January meeting, we discovered that the Flying Horse restaurant has closed for business. The meeting was not held, and we will be finding a new location for the February meeting. A suggestion has been made for the Dan McGinnis pub in Cool Springs. If anyone has other suggestions, please send them to me before the 18th. A meeting reminder will be sent with the new location before the next meeting. -------------------------------------- Officer Nominations -------------------------------------- With the cancelling of the January meeting, there were no official nominations. Names on the table are Josh Edlin for Chair, Mary Kate Anderson for Vice Chair, and Ashley Byron for Parliamentarian. If anyone would like to nominate someone for an office (Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, or Parliamentarian), please send me an email with the nomination. If you would like to be nominated for an office, please email me and I will nominate you. -------------------------------------- February Meeting - Officer Elections -------------------------------------- The next YR meeting will be February 12. We will be electing officers for 2008. Please make an effort to attend and make your voice heard. -------------------------------------- Annual Event Planning -------------------------------------- Last year, we held the first of what we hope will be an annual event. The event, a Cajun-style Crawfish Boil, was quite successful. If you would like to help plan this year's Crawfish Boil, or would like to suggest and plan a different event, please let me know.
